“Moments Unlost” Art Show by ShawnaLee at the Terryville Public Library

“Moments Unlost”

Art Show featuring works of art by ShawnaLee W. Kwashnak

February 2022

Terryville Public Library,  238 Main Street Terryville, CT 06786

“Moments Unlost” art show represents a collection of works of art by award winning portraitist, ShawnaLee W. Kwashnak, that capture moments in time that are now “unlost”.  Children grow, pets we love weave in and out or our lives, and moments we experience and share come and go fluidly throughout our lives.  Did we really notice? Are these moments lost, or unlost?  What happens when an artist takes notice?

Each work of art will have information to engage the viewer that also promotes thoughtful reflection.

ShawnaLee W. Kwashnak offers portraits of children, pets, horses, homes and moments in charcoals or oils.  She is the recipient of a grant from the FY20 CT Artist Respond awarded by DECD/CT Office of the Arts for teaching pandemic portraiture to youth.  See their art show here.

ShawnaLee also offers art classes year round via zoom.  Classes include sketching, drawing and painting.  Click here for the current list of classes offered.
