SPACE Decluttering with Jan Baltrush

SPACE = Sort / Purge / Assign a Home / Containerize / Equalize your items with the help of a virtual program given by Jan Baltrush, professional organizer.

Is being organized a matter of “nature” or “nurture”? In Jan’s case, she would have to say it is “nature.” She was searching for a second career option and realized her love for helping people and love for organization were a natural fit. Jan is a proud member of the National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals (NAPO) and follows its code of ethics.

Interactive Storytime Theater: The Mitten

Children will have a blast acting out this classic tale by Jan Brett. When Nicki drops his white mitten in the snow, he goes on without realizing that it is missing. One by one, woodland animals find it and crawl in each one larger than the last. Finally, a big brown bear is following in by a tiny brown mouse and what happens next makes for a wonderfully funny climax!

After acting out this tale, children will end with creating their own “mitten.” For ages 5 and up.

Adult Fiction Book Club

Join us as we discuss in our virtual Adult Fiction Book Club: “Ask Again, Yes” by Mary Beth Keane. How much can a family forgive? Francis Gleeson and Brian Stanhope, rookie NYPD cops, are neighbors in the suburbs. What happens behind closed doors in both houses–the loneliness of Francis’s wife, Lena, and the instability of Brian’s wife, Anne, sets the stage for the explosive events to come.
