Shakesperience Productions Painting Class

A five-day class where there is no overarching project. Each class will be an hour with an age range of 8-13 year olds, parents welcome! There will be a new theme everyday, including comedies, tragedies, heros, villains, and a 5th bring your own monologue where you draw your own monologue for the whole class. Its called Painting Shakespeare but you can use any medium. The warm-up for each class will be drawing funny and unfamiliar Shakespearean words and personifying insults. The main thing that kids should take away should be learning how to take an idea of someone else and using your mind’s eye to put it on paper. They should also take away a sense of how creative the Shakespeare’s language is as well as an expansion of their vocabulary. But most importantly to just have fun and create!
