Fused Glass Garden Stakes

Create your own one-of-a-kind garden stakes. Each student will use glass, frit and stringers to create their own unique pieces ranging from 12in-14in. Garden stakes will be fired and attached to copper tubing so that it can be displayed in a garden or in a planter. Pieces will be ready for pick up the following week.

For your safety and ours, we ask that you wear a mask in the studio at all times. Students will be assigned a station with your own grinder and tools which will be disinfected before and after the workshop.

Slumped Votive Holders

Create your own slumped glass vase. Students will use fusible glass, frit and stringers to design your own slumped vase or votive holder. Each student can make 1 large, or two small pieces. They will be fired in the kiln and ready to be picked up the following week.

Fused Glass Plate/Bowl

Create your own one-of-a-kind fused glass plate.

In this 2-hour workshop, students will learn the fundamental for working with and creating with fused glass. Students will have a wide variety of molds to choose from and a huge selection of glass, frit, stringers and powders.

All materials are included in this one day workshop; specialty glass can be purchased during the class. Projects will be ready to pick up during the following week. Get your friends together and come in for a great time! Larger molds available for an additional cost.

Drawing Skills ~ Seven week Art Course with ShawnaLee

Drawing Skills

In this seven week Drawing Skills course, Improve your drawing skills and artists eye while learning artistic tools such as mark making, creating and using values, as well as increasing your power of observation! Kind and caring guided discussions and demonstrations will be provided along with practices followed by immediate instructor feedback. We will look at master works for inspiration and learn how to observe and draw from life.

Saturdays March 13,20,27; April 3,10,17 & 24 2021

8-10 am via Zoom

Materials needed:

  • a selection of drawing pencils such as graphite: H, 2B, 4B
  • Kneaded eraser & vinyl eraser
  • drawing paper – such as a 9×12 or 11×14″ size

A minimum of 3 students will be needed to make this class a “Go”. Sales end two days prior to the start of class. A Zoom invitation will be emailed to you on Friday March 12th 2021.
