Join Dixie Longate for Happy Hour to Benefit the Arts

Have you seen or heard of Dixie Longate? If so, you’d remember as she’s pretty hard to forget! She used to hold Tupperware Parties but with the COVID environment, she’s moved on to hosting a Happy Hour ( and a half). Dixie Longate aka Kris Anderson wants to give back to the theaters that are struggling during the pandemic, so 80% of proceeds from Dixie’s Happy Hour Stream will benefit the theaters and institutions that have helped Dixie rise to stardom.

The Palace Theater and the Arts & Culture Collaborative are co-presenting this new streaming show for a limited engagement.  Mark your calendar for Thursday, March 4 at 5:30 pm and Sunday March 7 at 4:30 to tune in to the show benefitting the ACC and the Palace. The Palace has generously offered to split their proceeds with us for this particular show, so the ACC will benefit from 40% of each ticket sold for the engagement on March 4th and 7th.  A $38 ticket buys your whole household a boatload of laughs. If you’ve been to thesmash off-Broadway hit Dixie’s Tupperware Party or spent time with her in Dixie’s: Never Wear a Tube Top While Riding a Mechanical Bull (and 16 other things I learned while I was drinking last Thursday) then you know Dixie’s sweet charm and infectious southern drawl always keep you in stitches. This time around, she’s going digital to bring you some new stories while she’s mixing up some cocktails and challenging you to find the Happy Hours that are right in front of you but you may be overlooking.
