$ave $ome Gas money and get your Summer vacation painting game-on with a watercolors of summer art class with ShawnaLee!   Beginners through advanced artists will appreciate learning and reviewing techniques of painting fluidly with watercolors while immersing ourselves in the welcomed sights of Summer!  Since class is held via zoom, students benefit from front row views of slide shows, demonstrations, discussion and step by step practice each step of our way. Our class will focus on the stunning colors of painting beach landscape scenes.

Materials you’ll need to gather:

Paint brushes (a few rounds and flats – a mix of ones that hold water well and some stiffer ones typically used with acrylics)

watercolor paints (cakes or Tubes);  Maria’s or Winsor & Newton brands are great.

mixing palette (could be wax paper plate or porcelain plate)

paper towels

watercolor/mixed media art paper (11 x 14 is a good size)

natural sponge

wax – could be lightly colored crayons, candles, or easter egg wax crayon
Water rinse cup
A sense of adventure!
