

The Accordion Lives On! The Mattatuck Celebrates Waterbury’s Musical History
The accordion was a musical mainstay in from the 1950’s through the early 1980’s and Waterbury was home to some of the finest teachers in the industry. This concert features the Connecticut Accordion Orchestra in concert under the direction of Peter Peluso. Some 20 plus accordionists will perform a variety of pieces from classical to jazz and light rock, ethnic to show tunes….and some patriotic pieces added for good measure. Come see and hear how this fascinating instrument does it all!
