A pencil (could be #2)
Drawing or sketch paper, charcoal paper if possible (11×14 to 16×20 is reasonable)
Charcoals: a small assortment that may include vine, stick, and pencils.
Are you adventurous? Make your own charcoal! You’ll need an airtight tin (like for strong mints), grapevine or willow branches, and a long evening campfire! Do not open your tin until it is completely cooled to prevent oxygen from ruining the char-coaling process.
