The presenter for October meeting of the Naugatuck Garden Club is Nora Hulton, the director of the Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy in Litchfield.

She will discuss the mission of this organization and also bring a waterfowl or two!  

S. Dylan Ripley began building a collection of waterfall when he was a teenager in the 1920s. The goal of the conservancy is to spark a passion for the natural world through close exposure of students and visitors to these unique creatures.

The meeting starts at 6:30 PM Thursday October 21 in the Langhorne Room of Saint Michael’s Church, 210 Church St. in Naugatuck. Visitors welcome! A five dollar donation as suggested. Masks are mandatory.
