Medieval Inspired Watercolor Painting
An event every week that begins at 10:00 AM on Monday, repeating until March 23, 2020
You read that right! In this watercolor class, we will take our inspiration right out of 12th century manuscripts that were illuminated with incredibly detailed paintings of flora, fauna, fruits, seeds and whimsical zoomorphic creatures! The first class we will focus on exploring and getting comfortable with the techniques and methods of watercolors followed by admiring and creating our own Medieval inspired masterpiece paintings – without all the hard work of preparing vellum or grinding our own paints! This class is suitable for beginners through advanced artists.
Please bring the following Materials:
gouache (opaque watercolors)
mixed media or watercolor paper 11×14 is good size
assortment of paint brushes
fine tipped “Pen & Ink” pens such as Micron Pigma (unless, of course, you have some quill pens or very large feathers to prepare!)
