Illustrating Memories Workshop
An event every week that begins at 10:00 AM on Friday, repeating until January 31, 2020
(4-week class already started)
Have you ever wanted to draw or paint something that brought up fond memories from long ago? In this unique art class, students will be encouraged to illustrate their fondest recollections of sacred objects and places – whether it is a cherished marble, a grouping of leaves that hold symbolic sentiments, or a drawing of Grandma’s olde house on the hill. The first class will cover techniques and methods of watercolor and pen & ink skills as we begin exploring possibilities through simple and enjoyable prompts and exercises.
Please bring to class:
watercolor set (cake or tubes)
mixed media or watercolor paper 11×14 is good size
pencils/erasers
assortment of paint brushes
fine tipped “Pen & Ink” pens such as Micron Pigma

Important objects and photographs
