featuring the
The Waterbury Chorale
Joseph J. Jacovino Jr, Director
and
The Magnificent St. John’s McManus Pipe Organ
with guest organist
Daniel Scifo

This program will showcase the great French Romantic composers, who were also famous organists & pedagogues on the Paris musical scene at the turn of the 20th century.  Their organ compositions brought the organ repertoire to its greatest musical heights. It is a program also designed to highlight the mighty McManus pipe organ in the great sacred space of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Waterbury.  At the beginning of the program I will narrate the history of the organ, and demonstrate live the nature of the instrument with its many types and sizes of pipes, and the myriad of musical textures and colors that make it the “King of all instruments”.
“Come and enjoy Great Sacred Music in a Great Majestic Space”
