Book Talk with Local Author Avye Andonellis
As Halloween approaches, it’s time to get honest about two scary things: the invisible spirit world and being a self-published author! Join local author Avye Andonellis (aka Woodbury Library staff member Dawn Yoakam) for a book talk about her recently self-published literary thriller, The Marionettist .
From the back cover: “Ari Apostollis is all set. Her whole life she’s relied on herself, but she can no longer go it alone after a rare antiquities dealer uncovers an ancient secret which forces Ari to choose between the life she’s built and the life she was born to live. Deirdre Morrigan isn’t who she seems. When she shows up in Ari’s small New Hampshire town she harbors a wicked desire which could ruin them both.”
About the Author: Avye Andonellis left Ohio to raise her family on a Greek island. There she taught ESOL, learned Greek, and co-founded an organic feta cheese plant. Twenty years later, she moved back to the US. She is an author, small press owner, and dog & cat trainer. (Yes, cats can be trained, kinda.)
Avye will share her journey from being a NaNoWriMo winning writer to literary agent seeker to self-respecting, self-published author. She’ll offer solid, good-humored writing advice to help the author in you achieve publication. Books will be available for signing and purchase.
